Job Responsibilities:
Write software for data engineering pipelines. Design processes for electrical, mechanical, and mechatronics engineers. Mentor junior engineers in writing code and delivering software. Design FDA-Compliant Design Controls Tooling. Review other engineers' code and attend design reviews. Set the technical direction for FDA-compliant software tooling. Participate in hiring and recruiting for the team.
Key qualifications:
Building and independent software projects using TypeScript, Python, Ruby on Rails, and React; brain-computer interfaces and neural signal decoding; Microfabrication processes; FDA requirements for engineering design controls and building FDA-compliant software systems; neurosurgical planning and process definition; building tooling for Mechanical and Electrical Engineers; and creating user interfaces and software for histologists and veterinary professionals.
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field, plus two (2) years of experience as a Software Engineer or related field.
