Social Media Specialist (German Speaking, Fully Remote)

Heaven Media is a marketing agency that delivers campaigns globally. We operate solely within the computer gaming and esports industry with specialist knowledge and experience within this market. Our core services are PR, events, sponsorships, influencers, social media and content creation, creative services (video production and photography), advertising, and computer equipment hire.

The Role:

The Social Media Specialist is a key operational point of the Social Media Department, able to create industry leading social media content, and execute an effective social strategy to the benefit our clients and our business over multiple clients. You will be a part of the social media Team and support to effectively carry out assigned social media duties on client accounts. The main indicator of your success in this position will be the effective output of social media content, as well as developing a sound social media strategy which is authentic and engaging to its audience, and above all else, drives meaningful business results for our clients.

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the output of social media content across key video gaming client accounts which is authentic and engaging, to an industry leading standard
• Responsible for consistent growth, innovation, and creativity across your social accounts
• Responsible for content creation within German as a focus and at times, English
• Delivery of all aspects of social media planning for your clients including ideation, scheduling & strategy
• Manage delivery of social media strategies across our clients on multiple platforms, focusing on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and ideally, TikTok.
• Supporting with client reporting
• Support social aspects of business development ideation and creation
• Support execution of all social media and content competitions, including creation and localisation of any necessary Terms and Conditions

Requirements

• Bilingual, with fluency within English and German languages
• Strong understanding of the social media landscape, culture, current trends, and platforms
• Experience within social media content creation
• Strong understanding and demonstratable passion of the video gaming community
• Good understanding of key creators and accounts on social media within video gaming
• Ideally, a good understanding of further social platforms inclusive of Snapchat, Pinterest, Reddit, Twitch and YouTube.
• Must be able to travel internationally and hold a current passport
• Ability to work autonomously, under pressure, and meet deadlines
• Proactive and positive attitude
• Ability to multitask and prioritise
• Collaborative work spirit
