Social Media Specialist (Customer Services)

What's the role about

At Paysend we know just how crucial it is to provide customers with the best possible assistance in using our service. We are looking for the candidates to join our team in helping to create the most innovative customer oriented fintech platform.

What you’ll be doing

  • Investigate customer complaints in a timely manner, responding in appropriate channels
  • Maintain Paysend’s Tone of Voice in all social channel interactions
  • Highlight any trends in seen in social interactions / customer behaviour
  • Assist in efforts to prevent money laundering, terrorist financing and illicit financial activities
  • Reporting on social volumes, themes and issues. 

What you’ll need to be successful in the role

  • Experience working in a Customer Support environment, preferably in a Social Media capacity;
  • Experience of all the major social media platforms;
  • Experience in customer service via social channels;
  • Strong communicator and excellent writing skills; able to represent the Paysend tone of voice;
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets;
  • The ability to think spontaneously and respond positively to pressure;
  • Ability to make solid judgement calls on brand mentions;
  • The willingness to be part of a motivated team & the capability to work alone.

Desired skills:

  • Experience of working in CS or KYC
  • Working in a Financial Services or FinTech company
  • Working knowledge of Zendesk 
  • Passion for customer support
