The Opportunity:
Universal Tennis is looking for a social media manager with experience managing and growing corporate social media channels. The ideal candidate loves creating comprehensive marketing and engagement campaigns and is energized by working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. What you will do:
• Develop and execute comprehensive social media campaigns to drive awareness of Universal Tennis, support company initiatives, engage followers, and attract new ones
• Manage and grow social media channels (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube), including posting cadence and the daily, weekly, and monthly schedule
• Coordinate timing of posts, and collaboration across departments to manage planning and execution
• Troubleshoot social posting and boosting issues
• Monitor social platforms for relevant conversations; join and engage as appropriate as well as respond to comments and messages directed at our accounts
• Create and manage monthly social media calendar to support company-wide initiatives, with cross-departmental input
• Provide ideas/inspiration for new assets/content and facilitate the development and implementation of that content
• Coordinate with production agency for the creation of social assets (ie. graphics and videos) and manage requests and feedback from departments
• Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, and annual social media metrics reporting; monitor and analyze social mentions
• Work with ambassadors and influencers to boost business objectives
• Support Universal Tennis’ digital advertising initiatives including paid media and content boosting
Requirements
• Bachelor Degree, preferably in Marketing or Communications
• 4 + years of experience in social media, including previous work with social media management tools
• Knowledge of tennis a definite asset
• Interest in tennis, technology, and marketing industries
• Strong expertise with social platform tools and current posting guidelines
• Willingness to work outside of normal hours and weekends (when necessary, ie. during Grand Slams)
• Ability to work with agencies, across departments, and with remote teams
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and willing to dig in to solve problems as they arise
• Excellent attention to detail, highly organized
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Desire to learn and be part of a fun, fast-growing team
• Excellent visual skills (photography on social media to photo editing)
• Basic graphic design skills are strongly preferred
• Paid social media experience
• Experience with video and editing, ability to collaborate with and give direction to photographers and videographers to help content capture process (ie. at events)
• Ability to capture engaging social content at events (on phone)
• Eager to learn, desire for responsibility and ownership
• Opportunities to travel (to events and tournaments)

Salary
A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $50,000 to $95,000. The final base salary for this role will take into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location differential associated with where the position will be filled.
