Media.Monks is seeking a Social Media Manager, with experience managing large scale social media and creative projects. Our ideal candidate has superb communication and documentation skills, identifies gaps, develops processes, and is comfortable leading by example. Most importantly, they must have a passion for social media, a desire to continuously be up to speed on the latest trends (social, tech, culture, etc) and aspirations for greatness!

You are a social media-savvy professional, with experience in social media asset management. You are a ‘people person’ with a positive attitude and the ability to organise and influence people within & outside the organisation.

Based in Egypt, this position will be part of a globally distributed team serving high value clients across the Middle East; client-facing experience and willingness to travel is a must.

 

Role & Responsibilities

  • You will manage all client social needs ranging from the content calendar creation to campaign execution, and any other type of digital project that might be thrown your way. 
  • You will be responsible for planning and goal setting across all the Brand Channels (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram etc)
  • You will develop and maintain the relevant governance mechanisms suited to project.
  • You will be responsible for tracking and communicating timelines, budgets, assets, goals and expectations with stakeholders, and various global teams across the organization. 
  • You'll not only identify and cultivate new opportunities, you will work with team leads from social, creative, technical and growth teams to explore and win these opportunities. 
  • Ensure the final deliverables and outcomes are consistent with the brief timeline, client’s strategy, brand, and creative goals, as well as our own quality standards.
  • You will identify target customers and plan for increased engagement within that customer target.
  • You will be responsible for showing the measurable benefits of the team’s social effort, compiling data and presenting results internally and to the client. 

 

Requirements:

  • Your 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, social media management, digital marketing or production have made you fabulous at dealing with stress and phenomenal at communicating with (stressed-out) clients and coworkers.
  • You have experience with running projects and managing teams. 
  • You have the ability to internalise client requests and manage expectations.
  • You have incredible organization, communication and documentation skills.  You excel at juggling multiple spinning plates that are all moving in different directions, with varying deadlines. 
  •  You’re an excellent team builder that listens to team members' concerns, resolves conflicts, and encourages feedback. 
  • You are bilingual (English-Arabic) or have experience working in multicultural environments. 
  • You are open to extensive travel to Saudi Arabia.
