Social Media Manager

The Social Media Manager at Connected Analytics is responsible for responding to comments, creating content and driving engagement across all our social media channels. They lend a voice to who we are as a company and build a strong community of dedicated brand loyalists. Ultimately looking for avenues to continuously increase brand presence and awareness, improving marketing efforts and increasing sales.

Responsibilities will include

  • Designing and implementing social media strategy to align with business objectives
  • Setting, planning, and implementing social media and communication campaigns and strategies
  • Working closely with other members of the team such as the graphic designer(s) and copywriter(s) to publish engaging content daily
  • Carrying out necessary research and recommending new features to develop brand awareness 
  • Ensuring brand consistency by overseeing designs across all platforms  
  • Supervising all aspects of social media interactions between customers and ThankUCash, and ensuring a positive customer service experience
  • Building brand awareness and growth by engaging relevant influencers
  • Analyzing data to determine whether social media campaigns have achieved their goals and objectives
  • Developing and Managing communities online by responding to social media posts and developing discussions
  • Monitoring SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
  • Monitoring, tracking and reporting feedback and online reviews
  • Staying up to date with digital technology and social trends
  • Manage online communities acrooss various channels
  • Coordinating with the Marketing, Product and Sales teams for better product marketing on our platforms

Good to have (qualifications/skills)

  • B.Sc in Marketing, English, mass communication or related field
  • At least 2 years proven work experience as a Social Media Manager
  • Great knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Experience managing content and video marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and other social media best practices 
  • Time management, critical thinking and problem solving skills

Preferred skills/qualifications 

  • Successfully built/developed a large online community 
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing
  • Experience carrying out audience and buyer persona research
