Rooster Teeth is looking for a Social Media Intern to join our team in Austin, Texas for a new untitled female-led and focused project! As our Social Media Intern, you’ll have the chance to help ideate and execute social media creative and content across several social platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube Shorts. You’ll identify engagement opportunities with our community on all social platforms, as well as help write social media copy, edit short-form vertical video, capture BTS moments, brainstorm creative content ideas, and execute content publishing.
Responsibilities
- Clip, edit, and caption social media content for social media platforms
- Assist with idea generation and writing copy for social media posts
- Create and schedule posts on YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and other social platforms
- Collaborate with bigger social media teams to develop creative content
- Source show assets including screenshots, clips and gifs
- Communicate, interact with, and moderate audience/community
Qualifications
- Candidate will be working remote and in person in Austin, Texas
- Excellent written communication
- Proficient in Photoshop and Premiere Pro
- Experienced with most social media platforms, including TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube
- On top of new social media trends with the motivation to contribute
- Energetic and creative with the ability to make bland copy into great social posts
- Familiar with the world of gaming, animation, podcasts, YouTubers, and Rooster Teeth content
- Have a good sense of humor and connection/familiarity to a female-skewing 18-35 year-old audience
- Being able to roll with the punches and have a good attitude under pressure
