About the role:
Working with our Product of the Year (POY) Canada and Convenience U teams, this is an exciting opportunity to learn best practices in marketing from some of the best industry professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain Product of the Year engagement, especially during the peak sales cycle
Develop social media content, engaging industry professionals with specific POY info posts and industry news around innovation. Ideally, 2 posts/day, minimum 4-5 posts/week
Manage consumer channels, including Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, and help launch our new TikTok account, informing customers about new winning products via winners of the week posts. Connecting with winning social media marketing to collect assets for posting.
Utilize the POY’s IG page to stay abreast of new product launches in CPG, maintain an ongoing list of those new launches, follow potential new CPG client pages, like posts, and also engage in increasing our IG following
Assist in building engagement at the Convenience U Show, promote innovations featured at the show, and help feed the prospective entry pipeline for the 2024 POYC Awards program.
