About The Role: 

The Marketing team at TTG is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to support our global social channels and to assist growth efforts in the greater London area. The ideal candidate is passionate and knowledgeable in the areas of theatre and culture, creative, adept, and collaborative in content ideation and execution, and experienced in applying these ideas on social channels. 

Reporting directly into Senior Social Media Manager in New York, you’ll be responsible for daily management of social channels and collaborating on ongoing social strategy both in the London market and in the US. You will work closely with the marketing teams in London and the US to develop social content for campaigns, sales, individual show partners, and evergreen channel needs across Instagram, Tiktok, Twitter, and Facebook.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience in social media, is a culture connoisseur, is creative and passionate, and has extensive knowledge of the theatre space. Our social team is dedicated to using our online community and platforms to continue to “find a seat for everyone,” and to use our social channels to connect the culturally curious to the right experiences for them. This is a hybrid role and you must be willing to work out of our London office occasionally. Qualified candidates must be based in the greater London area.   

What You'll Do:

  • Support the Senior Social Media Manager in day-to-day upkeep and management of TodayTix’s social channels and assist in the process of working with the larger marketing teams to ideate, develop, execute, and distribute social content 
  • Assist with daily community management of the brand’s social channels, which include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn 
  • Manage and respond to customer and follower inquiries via social DMs
  • Report on social media performance using social listening tools 
  • Create video content for social channels independently, and with partners and shows in the London area
  • Manage social video shoots as an on-site producer and director, gathering all necessary materials, helping with camera and/or mic, appearing on-screen

We're Looking for Someone With:

  • 3+ years of experience in social media and/or theatre management 
  • A robust knowledge of the theatre industry
  • Experience with customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, an eye for copy, and a talent for quippy, concise, social-led language 
  • An in-depth understanding of the landscape of current shows on and off West End, as well as working knowledge of Broadway shows
  • An eye for culture, and the desire to connect audiences to culture through social storytelling
  • Passion for idea-generation and creative thinking
  • The ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and work efficiently and independently sometimes under strict deadlines 
  • Interest in and desire for collaborative brainstorming and sharing creative ideas across teams
  • An ability to pivot and adapt based on unexpected changes in the social landscape or our goals at TodayTix Group
  • Discretion and understanding of the often-confidential nature of aspects of working in our industry
