Rowan is looking for a Social Media and Content Creation Intern to support day-to-day social media management and content creation for Rowan’s social media channels. Reporting directly to the Assoc. Director of Social, you will be responsible for monitoring social media trends and content, with the goal of creating and sourcing multiple pieces of trend-driven content each week.
Hybrid - based in the Greater New York City, Chicago, or Boston area preferred.
What you'll do:
- Closely monitor and analyze social media trends and content, with the goal of creating and sourcing multiple pieces of trend-driven content each week
- Ideate, film, and edit short form video content
- Provide assistance to the marketing team to complete research, develop, and build Rowan’s influencer program
- Assist with content creator and influencer identification, relationship building, and sourcing social content needs
- Create weekly competitive reports to share key social media, community management, partnerships, and influencer marketing initiatives
- Assist with monitoring and tracking influencer mentions and campaigns across social media channels
- Assist with social media send-outs/giveaways/surprise-and-delight moments
Experience we are looking for:
- Currently studying marketing, communications, brand, or relevant degree preferred
- Skilled in filming and editing social media video content (TikTok, CapCut, Premiere Rush)
- You have a passion for social media, with a comprehensive understanding of Instagram and TikTok
- Deep understanding and point of view on social media trends. Constantly working on learning new trends and staying up to date on the latest content trends in social media
Compensation:
- The hourly compensation for this position is $16.00 per hour
