Our head office in Auckland is a modern, functional space overlooking the Viaduct, and just a 5 minute walk from Britomart’s central transport hub. The Role
We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer who has proven experience with DevOps, CI/CD and automation tools. As an experienced Site Reliability Engineer, you will be working closely with our talented software engineers and management team to implement a platform to deliver world class software. This is a support role across multiple clients and projects, working with the development teams to provide infrastructure and deployment scripts / tools to support continuous delivery.
· Extensive experience with Red Hat Linux, and provisioning VMs
· Deployment, Configuration Management experience with Chef or similar tools such as Ansible, Gradle, Maven, or Puppet
· Infrastructure as Code tools - Terraform, Cloudformation
· Networking and network infrastructure knowledge
· Unix / Linux administration including scripting with Bash and/or Python
· Containerisation experience using tools like Kubernetes or Docker is highly beneficial
· Experinece creating and maintaing HELM charts is advantageous
· Background in some form of programming and or scripting PHP / Go / Java / .Net / Python
· Database MySQL, MS SQL server, PostgreSQL etc. administration and support
· Experience with Nagios, Logstash, FluentD, Grafana, Jenkins
