We are currently seeking a Server for The Palisades at Broadmoor Park community located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Pay: $15-17/hr
Shifts:
FT 1- Monday- Thursday 6:30-2PM; Sunday 9-3
FT 2- Monday- Wednesday 10:30-7:30; Friday and Saturday 6:30-2 PM
The duties in this position include food service, side work, sanitizing and cleaning dining room and kitchen food service areas, room service deliveries, opening and closing, and assisting in other dining/kitchen duties as assigned and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Essential Job Duties
- Greet and seat diners
- Take written food orders, serve meals, bus tables
- Room service delivery
- Track resident attendance at meals
- Side work
- Opening set up and closing clean up
Non-Essential Job Duties
- Minimize waste and misuse of supplies and equipment
- Deal professionally at all times with personnel, residents, family members, and guests
- Promote a positive and friendly team work attitude in the execution of all duties
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor, Director of Dining, Executive Director and/or designee
Requirements
- Age over 18 years or have proper work permit and authorization documentation
- Background clearances as required by government regulations
- Complete a health screening and provide negative TB test results
- Experience in restaurant or food services operations preferred
- Serve safe certificate preferred
Physical Demands
- Must be mobile and able to transport dishes and utensils
- Able to stand for long periods of time and bend
- Must be able to lift and push 50 pounds
