Our client is an Australian graphic design platform that is used to create social media graphics and presentations. The app includes readymade templates for users to use. Their platform is a go-to place for all design needs on the web.
The Content Specialist provides initiative, direction, and support to building the best template library in the world through one of the most crucial aspects of a design: its content. You'll be working closely with a vibrant and friendly team of SEO researchers and specialists as well as offsite copywriters. This is an opportunity to strategize and develop exceptional ideas from the ground up, influence the product's overall direction, and create fresh, relevant, and usable content for our users.
What you will do:
- Accomplish and coordinate SEO content projects effectively and accurately to writers, designers, and different stakeholders - both in house and offsite.
- Champion content requirements for landing pages and ensure that all our organic platforms get the attention they need for timely landing page launches.
- Communicate relevant and crucial information on publishing, creative briefs and follow-ups across different teams of copywriters, coordinators, designers and business stakeholders.
- Support the SEO and Content team goals by coordinating content creation for special projects every quarter.
What you will do:
- Basic to intermediate understanding and work experience in content writing, content marketing, and SEO keyword research
- Excellent grasp of the English language - technically strong with a flair for either structured or creative style of writing
- Outstanding track record in web content writing is preferred but not a limiting factor for fresh applicants keen to learn on the job
- Enjoys coordination of projects and relaying relevant information across different teams
- Knowledge and understanding in SEO is ideal
- Previous background on project management preferred but not required
- A passion for creativity and design is a definite plus!
- Has understanding and work experience in copywriting and copy editing, local and international writing experience preferred
- Excellent grasp of the English language - technically strong with a flair for either structured or creative style of writing
- Has a strong eye for detail in order to catch typos, grammatical lapses and the different nuances of requested topics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
