The Role:

We are looking for an inspiring Senior SD Manager who has an innate flare and passion for people, to help drive and deliver the SD strategy and distribution plans across the UK. You will lead and support the SD Manager to execute world class retail experiences, with global impact. You will be the bridge between our department and its collaborators by building strong relationships with internal global partners and regional counterparts, as well as external retailers and suppliers to set the team up for success. Your key deliverables will be launching new store openings, re-fits, high quality standards, processes + ways of working, budget and team culture.


Key Responsibilities:

  • New Distribution + Re-Fits: oversee and implement all new and existing shop fit projects with the support of the SD Manager, to deliver top quality, operationally effective, omni-channel + future proofed shop fits
  • Shop Fit Standards: be the UK store design guardian of quality and standards by ensuring brand codes, concepts and standard details are maintained in all design and architectural drawings, shop fits must align to UK strategy/design integrity and safety standards
  • Store Design Process: own and lead the Store Design CPA and process, ensuring key check points are met and communication clear with all stakeholders
  • Budget: forecasting and presenting budget for sign off, approving team spend, coaching direct reports to have ownership of their costs, looking for cost efficiencies to control spend
  • Suppliers, Legal & Procurement: ensure we have a suitable supplier base to deliver distribution plans, working closely with legal and procurement to ensure we have the best terms, competitive costs, and support packages
  • Processes + Ways of Working: reduce friction points and implement proven solutions to cultivate high performing teams and suppliers
  • Strategy: translate strategic priorities to drive + deliver UK VM strategy with KPIs to assess performance
  • Team: nurture, engage and motivate SD talent to build a positive team culture. Building and presenting information for senior leadership review and/or approval. Attend installation of projects, monitoring standards and quickly resolving snagging issues

  • Holistic view of departments workload + opportunities
  • Team mentor, protector, reviewer, collator + challenger
  • The bridge of the department - managing reports, managing up + outside of department
