The Position
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with full stack experience who can help us grow our team, evolving our core Swoogo application and related services. Deep commercial PHP experience with common MVC frameworks and the ability to provide technical leadership to other engineers is a must.
Our Senior Software Engineers work closely with our Architects to guide the design, construction, documentation, maintenance, operation, and scale of our core application’s backend, customer-facing UI, and APIs (we are a full-stack team!). You are detail oriented in the implementation and refinement of code, and utilize your knowledge and skills to help your team bake automation, quality, reliability, scalability, and simplicity into everything they do. You are guided by utilizing modern DevOps, SRE, and secure coding practices. You lead by example, uplevel your teammates, and work closely with engineering and product leaders, customer support, and the rest of Swoogo to build the right features and ensure our customers are successful with their events!
We are a globally distributed company and product team. You know how important it is to communicate clearly, build strong connections with your team and the organization as a whole, and maintain a strong culture of writing things down and working asynchronously.
