Your Impact
- Take ownership of project components and processes, guiding them from inception through completion in a timely manner.
- Design solutions to medium complexity problems, managing simplicity, completeness, performance, and risk tolerance.
- Seek and incorporate feedback; handle testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Provide thoughtful and constructive code reviews.
- You will mentor junior engineers, highlight their accomplishments, and help them find their way in the organization.
- Take the initiative and pitch in. You jump into areas that need your help, you leave code better than when you found it, and you actively contribute to your team’s or the engineering organization's priorities.
- Applying your expertise to solve problems where you’re familiar, or helping to find the right person to solve problems where you’re not.
About You
- A React / React Native developer with 2+ years experience building mobile applications using JavaScript, or TypeScript
- Experience creating client facing Android and iOS applications and deploying them to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- A Communicator: You write and speak clearly, concisely, and confidently, breaking down complex concepts into layman’s terms for your customer
- A People Person: You’re empathetic and energized by talking to and helping people
- Quality-minded: You have excellent attention to detail and high quality standards, challenging the status quo to get the most effective results
- A Problem Solver: You ask the right questions and use all resources at your disposal to get to the root of a problem
- An Ambassador of Prodigy’s values: You’re driven to do what’s most beneficial for the User, to lead with a radically candid mentality, you seek out learning experiences and demonstrate accountability on every task
