Halvik is looking for a talented JIRA Developer to add to their dynamic team supporting a highly visible federal contract. The right individual for this role will be self-motivated and energetic developer who takes initiative, enjoys finding solutions to a varying number of challenges, is detail-oriented, and takes extreme pride in their work and is a team player.
The developer will work closely with our Technical Lead for guidance & to bounce ideas off each other and assigned clients, to deliver an outstanding final project. The individual should be experienced in developing and maintaining automation workflows, working with JIRA plugins, building dashboards, configuring custom fields, create custom preset filters, test outcomes, and identify defects with understanding of 508 Web Accessibility Standards.
What You Will Do:
- Work closely with technical lead and solutions architects to conceptualize solutions
- Create custom workflows & dashboards for various client along with day-to-day maintenance support .
· Responsible for creating proof of concept solutions using Jira Plugins, add-ons and Azure services.
· Work closely with technical lead and solutions architects to conceptualize solutions
· Create POAM (Plan of Actions and Milestone) based on findings from the Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A)
· Develop Ad-Hoc Reports
· Create and Update Workflows
· Audit and Disaster recovery support
What You Need:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related area
- 7+ years of experience, 5 of which is specialized developing solutions/applications using Atlassian JIRA.
· Ability to maintain, troubleshoot, performance tune, evaluate new plug-ins and JIRA upgrades.
- Experience with building custom scripts and JIRA plugins
· Experience installing, upgrading, developing, and working with third party apps and integrations
· Ability to configure and maintain multiple JIRA projects, project workflows, schemes, project and portfolio settings, user groups, roles, and reports.
· Strong organization skills to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks within the constraints of clients’ timelines and budgets.
· Experience in Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies preferred.
