The Team You’ll Join:
We are a small, but fun, smart, and a growing team. Day to day - we research, ideate, iterate and make design decisions that solve problems and drive outcomes on our SaaS platform. Our design team splits to 2 distinctive functions - Product Design (support Product and Engineering), and Visual design (support Marketing and People), and sits in the Product org. This opportunity is in Product Design. We’ve built out a stealth Design Systems library so that you spend more time problem solving rather than designing.
We are looking for a general product designer with a strong user research background. The opportunity is in the NYC office ONLY. We have a hybrid office/home schedule where we come into the office on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursdays.
How You’ll Contribute:
- Sketch, wireframe, and build out design concepts into functioning prototypes to determine the best UX for the product
- Partner with Engagement Managers and recruit users to conduct moderated usability testing interviews with Figma prototypes for new features or feature enhancements
- Set up surveys or other UXR methods to collect feedback from users
- Ability to contribute and lead whiteboard sessions to convey UI breakdown and user flow
- Deliver user stories and user journey mapping
- Investigate and suggest product improvements by relying on quantitative data on product analytic tools and/or qualitative data from users’ feedback
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure feasibility of design execution
- Participate in maintaining and updating our existing design systems to optimize for scalable design
- Responsible for developing research best practices across the organization and help to steer UX Research leadership efforts
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in all phases of the design thinking process including user research, user journey, wireframing, prototyping, UI design, interaction design
- Knowledge of statistics, data analysis, qualitative and quantitative research techniques, such as usability testing and surveys
- Experience in working with front end developers
- Excellent verbal communication to collaborate with internal teams and external customers with proactive mindset
- Expert knowledge in Figma
- Knowledge in responsive desktop digital product (we do not have a mobile product)
- Portfolio consisting of B2B SaaS work
- Passion or interest in big data is a PLUS

- Our compensation package includes base salary, stock options, and the great benefits shown below. The salary range for this role is: $141,000 - $162,000
