Are you interested in working for a luxury tech firm providing Chauffeur services and the highest quality experience to all passengers? Wheely is looking for a market leading Senior Operations Manager to continue to drive our growth.
About Wheely
Wheely is a Swiss-founded British luxury services company. We lean into both cultural identities: Swiss privacy and British prestige hospitality. Our product is a combination of a highly trained chauffeur, finest in-car experience and instant availability via the app.
Our mission is helping clients reclaim their time, by connecting them to the places and people that matter to them in a thoughtful, discreet, and efficient manner—whether that’s journeys to the office, picking up their relatives from the airport, or taking their children to school.
Responsibilities
- Grow and manage a large marketplace with the following key areas: recruitment, onboarding, engagement & quality control
- Lead a growing Operations team responsible for quality, retention and growth
- Manage cross-functional projects and stakeholders, including Product, Customer Experience, Finance, Legal and others to devise and execute key initiatives
- Innovate, scale and rebuild internal processes for continued improvement
- Function as the principal escalation point for major issues
- Be the spokesperson for Wheely to our Chauffeur community
Requirements
- Must have progressive experience in Operations and be an expert at building and optimising processes, systems and high-performing teams. If you prioritise the customer and have the attitude of “it's never not my problem”, you'll fit right in!
- Ideally, you have startup or scale-up experience (not necessarily most recently), but it does not mean we will not consider candidates with a corporate background.
- Very comfortable analysing and scrutinising large datasets yourself, if necessary. Ideally, you'll have some SQL experience.
- Must be an effective problem-solver with a bias for action. You are proactive and are capable of finding and implementing the right solutions quickly while using all available resources to you with maximum leverage.
- Must be a competent people manager - you are able to build, educate and lead a high-performing team.
- Must have demonstrable ability to own, execute and deliver on short and long-term projects. You will have programme/project management experience, in particular running projects/programmes across multiple functions.
