About the Role

As the Senior Manager, Marketing Automation, you’ll lead a team that supports our marketing efforts for demand generation, lead nurturing, lead scoring, design, and project management. Your main responsibilities will include the setup, deployment, and management of automated marketing campaigns, as well as support across the team for needs of design and project management. In addition, you’ll work in close collaboration with our Marketo Architect to optimize and scale our instance over time.

What You'll Do

  • Work with key marketing stakeholders to design and execute automated marketing campaigns and programs such as lead scoring, lead nurturing, lead routing, and trigger-based campaigns.
  • Manage and mentor the marketing services team, setting goals, and processes.
  • Partner with operations team to improve data hygiene, processes, metrics, and technologies.
  • Develop and maintain logic in Marketo programs to support lead management, data standardization, email cadence, and list segmentation.
  • Actively engage in the process to define new marketing automation processes.
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis on campaign and program performance.
  • Work with the services team to adopt an always testing mentality to drive creative solutions.
  • Proven analytical, problem solving, and innovative thinking abilities.
  • Experience with Marketo architecture, data, process, and best practices.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Communicate to stakeholders across the business and at varying levels while simplifying problems and concepts.
  • Implement, drive, and own email marketing best practices with campaign structure and management.
  • Manage external vendors contributing to large initiatives, including but not limited to design, project management, and marketing automation.
  • Create, implement and own, governance policies across email marketing strategies and execution.

What You'll Bring

Experience

  • 7+ years of related marketing and marketing automation experience.
  • 3+ years of experience leading and managing a team of direct reports.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Marketo admin & marketing/sales technologies. 
  • Marketo Certification. 
  • Strong business acumen, communication skills, and experience managing a marketing operations team.
  • Knowledge of HTML & CSS, with experience building / editing Marketo templates.
  • Experience with database management, with proven ability to work between systems and create segmentation rules, data hygiene and maintenance and analytical reporting.
  • Experience building out demand gen and customer facing automation programs.
  • Inbound/outbound marketing tactics as it relates to marketing automation.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Skills

  • SFDC administrator certification preferred.
  • Experience working with additional martech tools including, marketing attribution, webinars, CRM, online chat, project management tooling, and revenue reporting.
  • Experience with ABM.
  • Experience implementing multi-touch attribution.
  • SMS Platform experience.
