About Exaring AG
Our product waipu.tv provides IPTV Live Streaming: Free TV, Pay TV, NewTV, Video-on-demand, recordings, restart, and timeshift – all within a single app on a wide range of devices: smartphones, tablets and TVs (FireTV, Apple TV, Smart TVs and our own waipu.tv stick).
As Exaring AG we operate an entire platform and handle the complete process: from encoding the video signals to delivering streams to our 1 Million + customers across Germany.
What you will be doing
Our Site Reliability team keeps everything up and running. With increased growth, we are looking for individuals who can take our service infrastructure to the next level. Join us and help us improve and expand our core infrastructure systems, delivering streams to millions of customers.
You will have the opportunity to design, implement and maintain scalable software-based solutions to improve the reliability and availability of our physical server and storage infrastructure
You will be responsible for solving problems with our hardware systems and building solutions and automation to prevent them from happening again
You will take care of troubleshooting and performance tuning of our system platform, including the Linux Kernel, storage systems, and RAID issues
You will build and supervise Linux performance monitoring tools utilizing our existing observability infrastructure (Prometheus, Grafana, Tempo, Loki, ElasticSearch, eBPF)
You will have the opportunity to add new features to our underlying, Linux-based operating systems
You will be responsible for the hardware vendor management
You will lead the monitoring, deployment automation and enhancements of the waipu systems
