About the Role:

Digital.ai is growing its development activities in Chennai and is looking for a Senior Java Engineer who wants to work in the Git/Gerrit area, contribute to open source projects and craft our products around Version Control and DevOps.

Responsibilities:

• Developing Version Control product line in Git/Gerrit area
• Improving existing Git/Gerrit integrations across Digital.ai product portfolio
• Contributing to open source Gerrit project and actively participating in its community
• Shaping Version Control visions and releasing them with global engineering teams to come up with exciting new products

Requirements: 

• Excellent Java skills
• Curiosity about open source and agile software development
• Desired: experience with Git, Gerrit and Jenkins and/or Docker/Kubernetes
• Curiosity about Version Control, CI/CD and DevOps
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English

Desired but NOT Required:

• Knowledge of multiple standard process frameworks including Agile methodologies, DevOps cultural changes, and Lean concepts
• Jenkins and/or Docker/Kubernetes.
• Participation or Knowledge of Open-Source communities
