The Hardware Engineer will be a part of the technology team reporting to the Systems Engineering Manager. This individual will collaborate with other tech team members on the development of new hardware and support of existing hardware at Project Canary. This work will include but is not limited to electrical schematic design, PCB layout, assessment of new technology, manufacturing support, field implementation plans, etc.
This individual will be intimately involved with circuit design, part selection, and PCB layout. They will provide insight into circuit-level testing, hardware bring-up, and rapid prototyping. The role will require superior people skills, collaboration, problem-solving abilities, and a focus on hardware operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics design and development, testing and troubleshooting, as well as prototyping and transition to the manufacturing of PCBs.
