Senior Graphic Designer - Maternity Cover

We are looking for a skilled designer, and confident people manager to join our growing team. You will report to the Head of Creative Operations and will be responsible for leading the design team, defining the creative direction and ensuring consistency of delivery through all of the channel executions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves design, motivating others and is skilled across print and digital design disciplines. You will be leading on the delivery of creative for multiple channels deliver through various channels, overseeing stakeholder relationships and working closely with our eComm and trade teams to ensure we consistently deliver and improve on the performance of our assets, whilst ensuring we retain an ownable position in the marketplace.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing the design team.
  • Defining creative direction and consistency across channels.
  • Designing in both digital and print.
  • Leading relationships with external agencies and internal leadership.
  • Managing the workload and opportunities across the creative team.
  • Understand and help drive the performance of digital assets, including paid ads, emails and on the website.
  • Art direction and managing photography and video shoots.
  • Managing and overseeing UX design creation with an external agency, ensuring incorporation of the brand’s visual identity.
  • Create low-fidelity and hi-fidelity wireframes

Requirements

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or equivalent practical experience.
  • Highly creative with a thorough understanding of layout, photography, typography and technical skills of the latest creative software(s).
  • Senior experience in a comparative role


Essential skills we are looking for:

  • Creative thinker who is able to work under pressure, be a problem solver and willing to go the extra mile.
  • Experience of managing others.
  • Experience in designing for Shopify.
  • Experience in designing for Klaviyo.
  • Excellent eye for detail, consistency and accuracy.
  • Shows an interest in data and asset performance and motivation to consistently improve output.
  • Highly self-motivated with a can-do attitude and the ability to excel within the dynamic demands of a rapidly growing company.
  • Highly skilled across Adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, After Effects) and other relevant programmes.
