Senior Game Developer

We’re looking for a talented and passionate person to join our mobile game dev studio in Stockholm.

As a Senior Game Developer, you will participate in the full cycle of game development. We’re currently working on a new multiplayer game, and you will have the chance to be involved in the design and implementation of all technical aspects of the game, such as gameplay mechanics, metagame logic, UI screens and tooling together with the rest of the engineering team.

We're a small studio with a very senior and passionate team where everyone has a high impact on the company's success and culture.

The right person for this position is curious by nature, and comfortable in a "take the initiative" environment, loves solving problems, and wants to be part of creating something really special.

What you'll do

• Be part of creating a realtime multiplayer game for mobile devices using Unity
• Collaborate close with the rest of the team
• Designing, prototyping and implement new game features 
• Write easily maintained, efficient and well-tested code
• Participate in code reviews
• Integrate UI assets and meta screens
• Planning and task breakdown of systems which you will be responsible for. 
• Proactively look for problems in processes and propose improvements
• Fix bugs and bang your head against networking related problems

8-Bit Bandits is a creative studio, based in Stockholm, Sweden with employees from all over the world. The bandits are currently making a new multiplayer couch co-op experience on mobile .  At  8-Bit Bandits we create games together for players to play together.
