THE ROLE:

Athletic Greens is looking for a talented Senior Director, Growth Creative Strategy who will serve as a critical member of our Growth team. This individual will oversee the Growth Creative Studio Creative Strategists and Project Managers who are responsible for delivering concepts, creative iterations for all growth channels – including Paid Social, Video & Media, Podcast and Influencers. This role will collaborate with Channel leaders across Growth to develop integrated marketing plans designed to deliver foundational customer messaging and where to customize creative relevant to the audience. This role is equal parts creative and analytical, bridging the gap between our Growth team and our Brand Strategy partners. This role will be key to unlocking aggressive business growth by helping us deliver the right creative and messaging to potential customers at the right time.

The ideal candidate has a growth hacker mindset that is obsessive around driving customer impact through ad-creative and solving growth challenges, while demonstrating the ability to think analytically and make data-driven decisions.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Own the development cycle of best-in-class performance creative content from start to finish. This includes, but is not limited to: concepting new creative ideas, developing our testing/iteration roadmap, writing briefs, facilitating content production, and leveraging creative results to inform future testing and both short and long-term strategy.
  • Transform creative performance and insights into codified learnings and actionable next steps that align with our results-driven content strategy and internal Creative Playbook.
  • Strategize and define the Growth team’s content needs across various channels (inclusive of traditional performance marketing channels and our creator performance channels), brainstorm ideas for new creative, deliver detailed briefs to creative partners, manage production schedule and ensure timely delivery of effective, attention-getting assets.
  • Lead a team of designers, copywriters, video editors and creative strategists.
  • Partner with Brand to determine key messaging and product education focus.
  • Compile insights from across Growth and share with cross functional partners.
  • Work closely with our eCommerce team to ensure our ad creative testing is lining up with our landing page testing.
  • Work with the Customer Insights team to understand key customer questions and propose messaging solutions.
  • Partner with Creative Team to ensure all assets are on brand and delivered on schedule in preparation for programming.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 10+ years managing performance creative strategy or performance marketing function, with 5+ years of people management experience.
  • Obsession over growth hacking and deliver customer value through performance ad creative.
  • Experience tying creative insights to business performance.
  • Experience managing creative development across all growth creative with emphasis on video.
  • Desire to take ownership of focus area, including proactive analysis and communication.
  • Problem solver who thrives in a fast paced environment, is comfortable and secure in making decisions, enjoys and isn’t afraid to test and learn.
  • Excels operating in ambiguous and changing situations to deliver on the right results.
  • Excited to be collaborating with performance marketing teams in a global, high growth, late-stage private or public, consumer-focused company.
