CannonDesign is searching for a digital communications aficionado to develop and implement strategies that increase our digital engagement, enhance brand awareness and generate leads. You’ll be a part of our ambitious communications team, contributing new ideas that improve our website ecosystem and strengthen our approaches to email marketing and digital campaigns.

Here's what you’ll do as our Senior Digital Communications Specialist:
Website ecosystem

Manage CannonDesign’s website ecosystem, which currently includes CannonDesign.com, ModularDesign.com and YazdaniStudio.com. This ecosystem could expand into the future.

Grow organic keyword footprint by leveraging search best practices and introducing effective new tactics.

Monitor and optimize user experience leveraging data, insights and best practices.

Implement acquisition strategies aimed at increasing site traffic, visitor engagement and reducing bounce rates.

Oversee ongoing website maintenance and as-needed improvements.

Manage relationships with third-party developers.
Email marketing
- Implement CannonDesign’s email marketing strategy using Hubspot.
- Oversee the firm’s email marketing contact lists; segment and manage lists based on set criteria.
- Infuse testing and refinement into email strategies (i.e., A/B testing, multivariate testing, etc.) for continual improvement.
- Support larger communications teams in developing email automation campaigns and audience growth strategies.
- Manage analytics reporting related to email marketing focused on continual improvement.
- Build defined plans for different types of email marketing (i.e., virtual event invitations, client nurturing, thought leadership advancement and more).
Digital campaigns
- Manage our annual digital campaign strategy, which includes email, social media, virtual events and search marketing related to business growth areas.
- Partner with the larger communications team to identify high-quality content for each campaign.
- Identify opportunities to maximize campaign reach while staying within an established budget.
- Monitor and track campaign performance and optimize strategies based on results.
Here's what you'll need:
- At least 8 years' experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media or a related field.
- Expert-level experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads.
- Experience with Hubspot or similar email marketing platforms.
- Experience managing a website CMS.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Proven record of growing online audiences and engagement.
- The ability to work independently and drive results with minimal guidance.
- Strong analytical/research skills.
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- An obsession with data; experience building reports, dashboards and presentations that simplify data and offer opportunities for improvement/optimization.
- A voracious desire to learn and stay on top of new technologies, platforms and digital communications approaches.
Here’s some extras that would be nice:
- Experience with Meta and LinkedIn Ad Manager.
- Experience managing third-party vendors.
- General coding skills

This position can be filled remotely anywhere in the US. The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 annually. This salary range is the range we believe is the anticipated range of possible base compensation at the timing of the posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated salary range for the position. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses. We offer a full benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage and flexible spending account options and voluntary insurances.
