About the role
Bold is looking for an experienced Senior Copywriter to contribute to brand and business objectives through elevated and creative content creation. Working in collaboration with our Creative and Marketing Teams, you will play a lead role in the next phase of our strategic rebranding effort, bringing a newly minted, fresh brand voice to life. Ultimately, you will focus on producing a high volume of strategic content, in a variety of formats that drives Bold’s organic and lead acquisition growth goals.
The ideal candidate will have experience in both content marketing and creative copywriting in B2B tech ecommerce or fintech, and the dexterity to deliver copywriting and content marketing that inspires audiences to move through the buyer’s journey. We need big picture thinking paired with a hands on get it done mindset.
What you'll do
- Contribute to content strategy and plan in collaboration with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Brand and Creative Teams, to achieve business goals
- Develop engaging, audience-specific B2B focused content, synthesizing complex concepts and products into concise, compelling, and relatable copy
- Research and conduct interviews with customers and subject matter experts, to write messaging and content that inspires and educates
- Oversee brand voice and contribution across a wide range of communication formats: digital and website copy, emails, ad copy, articles, white papers, and more
- Distill technical or industry-specific concepts into understandable, compelling messaging for demand generation and sales enablement
- Contribute to the creation of content style guide informed by refreshed brand voice and guidelines
- Collaborate with team atomize and repurpose content for consistency in brand voice and adaptation of tone across various channels and formats
- Ensure branding standards are applied across all content created
- Work independently while engaging internal and external resources to own assignments through to completion
- Develop and mentor others in writing proficiency
- Proofread and edit content produced by others
- Steward the editorial calendar and approval process, ensuring content is ready to publish at the right time
What we're looking for
- A work ethic that demonstrates dedication and commitment to Bold’s mission and belief in our BUILDERS Code
- 5+ years of experience in writing long and short form copy for digital platforms for B2B tech - preferably ecommerce or fintech solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, english, or related discipline is preferred
- A portfolio that showcases ability to develop and refine technical content into relatable, conversational copy
- A portfolio that showcases ability to write for readability, clarity, voice, tone, and branding
- Proven track record in writing lead-generating and sales-enabling marketing materials
- Data-driven for testing copy and iterating based on results
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Effective time management skills with proven ability to execute with great attention to detail
