The Opportunity

We are looking for an accomplished Senior Compliance Analyst to join our Compliance team as part of our financial services business in Grand Cayman.

The Cayman Islands is home to our global headquarters and where the Maples Group first established operations in the 1960s. Since then we have grown to become one of the largest employers in Cayman, where colleagues from all over the world collaborate to deliver best-in-class solutions to clients worldwide. As part of our Cayman team you will:

 

  •          Attending to KYC related queries received from lawyers, investment managers and/or the Global Compliance Team
  •          Ensure that KYC documentation is approved and stored in accordance with internal policies
  •          Ensure that non-compliant clients are identified and reported to the AVP and CO, and that steps are taken to remediate outstanding KYC information in a timely manner
  •          Conduct KYC and refresher due diligence searches where necessary and report findings to the CO as necessary

 

What You Bring

In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:

 

  •          Either ACAM’s, ICA, Finance degree or similar
  •          Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a compliance or finance role
  •          previous supervisory experience is preferable
  •          Excellent working knowledge of the Cayman regulatory environment
  •          Sound working knowledge of Word, Excel, MShare, Investran, and EInvestor
