Senior Commercial Finance Manager - EMEA & APAC

Ten as looking for a committed and experienced Finance Business Partner who is seeking a new challenge to join our finance team. You will work with the Regional leads and Service Delivery management teams in EMEA and APAC to drive delivery of operational efficiencies and support delivery of contribution targets.

This role will be responsible for monthly P&L reviews, annual budget, and quarterly forecasting. As well as adhoc business partnering requirements from the service delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monthly P&L reporting and reviews with senior management teams in EMEA and APAC to understand and challenge variances to budget/ forecast
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities and seek to mitigate/ capitalise on these
  • Work with Client Services and Corporate Revenue Manager to understand Corporate Revenue budget and forecasts
  • Liaise with Service Delivery teams to produce the Commission revenue forecast for travel, lifestyle and tickets
  • Work with Service Delivery and Global Resource Planning teams to build resource requirement for annual budget and quarterly forecast
  • Support on Global travel forecasting, budgeting and monthly reporting and commission collection
  • Work with finance to understand any Balance Sheet risks and opportunities, and to investigate unexpected variances to budget/ forecast
  • Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all Service Delivery Directors and their teams
  • Adhoc business partnering requirements, including resource planning for new growth in revenue and analysis of changes to operational efficiencies
  • Adhoc reporting requirements

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications

  • You will need to be based in Cape Town
  • Minimum 5 years in a Finance Business Partner/ Commercial Finance role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proactive, with open regular communication with stakeholders
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to ensure clarity
  • The desire and willingness to investigate and challenge information, and action where appropriate
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload
  • Experience with reporting tools (i.e. Planful, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Previous experience in a Travel organisation desirable
