About You:

You are passionate about the role new technologies can play to improve workflow efficiency and data foundations. Ultimately you seek a higher purpose in helping enterprises become more responsible and accountable, and the impact suppliers can have to achieve this.

You are the type of person that treats your function as your own business, set daily goals, and has a plan to reach the results you want to achieve. You are comfortable with making mistakes, taking feedback, and improving one step at a time.

About the role:

Although this is a conversation starter position (not full sales cycle), we are looking for an AE or a Seasoned BDR calibre candidate, who will be establishing initial contact with ICPs and supporting Sales Director up until SQL stage. You will be up and running in no time with market engagement initiated as early as your first month. We will provide the training and support you need but we also have learned that quickly deploying you in the market will accelerate your learning. And don’t worry if you are not perfect right out from the gate. At HICX there will be no penalty for making mistakes as this is the best way to learn – we have got your back.

In your first 3-6 months you will be supported to learn the HICX positioning, outreach messaging, and go-to-market strategy, build internal relationships and consistently meet goals. As you mature into your role, over the next 6-18 months you will continue to build your core skills and get deeper into the complex procurement landscape. In no time you will have become a domain expert in what is one of the fastest-growing tech investment areas in the world.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Drive business development activities in North America.
  • Conduct company research and build up documented account intelligence.
  • Understand account pain points and tailor our offerings through Outreach campaigns targeted at $5-100 billion Enterprises through phone calls, email, events and social media.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Account executives in formulating and executing prospecting campaigns.
  • Coordinate and execute on engagement plans and manage the account relationship as part of the prospecting and qualification cycle.
  • Work actively with presales to maximise engagement during qualification.
  • Utilize market leading sales enablement tools such as Cognism, 6Sense, Outreach, Gong, LinkedIn and Salesforce.

Requirements

  • You have 3-6 years SaaS BDR / sales experience within ProcureTech, SupplyTech or DataTech.
  • You have the ability to articulate value propositions and ROI and align messaging to a variety of senior enterprise stakeholders.
  • You have experience in applying multi-channel prospecting tactics.
  • You have exceptional levels of drive and motivation.
  • You are a creative and resourceful ‘doer’ able to operate using your own judgment and not afraid to try new approaches.
  • You’ve always been very disciplined and results focused.
  • You have a winning personality and passionate about finding that one stakeholder whose life you can improve.
  • You have a flexible mind-set and always keen to learn.
