The Senior Accountant will manage a set of accounting activities, the accounts payable, monthly closing of accounts, and preparation of reports in support of the financial statements, maintain the general ledger, perform account reconciliations, assist with audit preparations, and carry out other accounting duties as may be required.
What Will You Do?
Manage the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations, and report preparation.
Participate in strategic financial projects including upgrades/phase-two implementation of ERP software.
Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances.
Assessing internal controls.
Performing monthly balance sheets, income statements, and changes in finances position/budget variance analysis.
Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules.
What You'll need?
Bachelor's degree in accounting.
Min 4-5 years relevant experience in accounting.
Working Knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
Strong financial analysis skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational and stress management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Ability to train and manage staff.
Ability to work with little supervision.
