Promethean Inc is looking to fill an Internship within our DevOps/Security team. This team member will be responsible for working with and supporting other security personal and engineering team members by documenting, maintaining, and monitoring security controls and tools designed to reduce operational risk in a high-performance enterprise could environment.
A successful candidate will be passionate about Cyber Security and possess the ability to learn in a fast-paced mission critical environment.
As a Security Engineer Intern, you will:
- To research and learn advanced Cloud Security controls.
- Ability to research and understand security concepts and trends.
- Assist in the documentation and investigation of security findings and corresponding controls to determine root cause.
- Run and review vulnerability scans and help prioritize security findings for remediation based on severity level.
- Support CI-CD security tools and assist in advancing our Engineering Teams security program.
- Collaborate with teammates and assist in the documentation and implementation of enterprise security tooling.
Requirements:
- Current enrollment in a 4-year degree program in Cyber Security
- Basic CS knowledge and exposure to Linux
- Basic knowledge of cloud infrastructure and concepts
- Exceptional ability to communicate and write technical documentation.
