About the position:

Sales training & enablement is the critical link in our go-to-market strategy. The Ideal candidate should have a strong mix of non-technical “front of the classroom delivery” enablement skills, selling skills and training delivery & design. The Sales Training & Enablement Specialist will be responsible for driving efficiency across the commercial organization, specifically growth & sales. This will be achieved by automating high-impact activities and continuously optimizing the processes, tools and integrations used by the sales teams.

The Sales Training & Enablement Specialist will hold a key individual contributor role in influencing revenue by supporting our growth and sales organizations. This position will be focused on training, enablement, and systems to improve the productivity and ramp time for our sales organization. This individual should be skilled at understanding stakeholder needs, account management and translating those into a world-class enablement program. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Sales Enablement.

You will:

  • Strategy - Develop, facilitate, and execute a multi-tiered product training strategy for US Sales teams, including onboarding, skills development, product, as well as , follow-up and reinforcement to increase sales performance
  • Program Design/Facilitation - Using a variety of modalities (ILT, VILT, eLearning), develop and deliver effective sales training reinforcement, Onboarding content, and certification programs that align with corporate, product and marketing strategies
  • Evaluation – Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, identify gaps, and recommend solutions
  • Relationship Management/Collaboration - Engage key stakeholders and cross-functional leaders across Viz to gather appropriate product release and launch details to ensure readiness for training
  • Lead or assist with the content development and “big tent” (live or virtual) execution of our annual Commercial Kick-off Meeting

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role, with demonstrated ability to transfer skills and knowledge to a group and/or individual
  • Strong meeting management and group process facilitation skills, with ability to structure small and large group meetings to achieve pre-defined objectives
  • High competency in the following areas: highly collaborative, strong oral and verbal communication, excellent multi-tasking, attention to detail, planning, process and project management, effective decision making, results-oriented, ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
  • Proficient in adult education, competency learning design, curriculum and instructional design and development
  • Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate360, Learning Management Systems, and Salesforce a plus
  • Ability to travel 25% (Post COVID-19 Travel Restrictions)

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Selling in a cloud based, SaaS market space such as Marketo, Oracle and/or Salesforce.com product knowledge
  • 2 – 3 years of commercial experience in customer-facing role such as in Sales Rep, Account Management, or clinical support 
  • Demonstrated agility in a constantly changing environment and ability to cultivate strong relationships
  • Additional certifications in Facilitation, Coaching and Instructional Design

Salary Range: $112,000 - $152,000
