About the Job
As a Sales Engineer at Leviathan Security Group, you will play a vital role in the technical sales process, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of penetration testing, technical assessments, and risk & advisory services to help improve our client's security posture. You will be responsible for explaining the technical and functional aspects of our services in detail and answering any technical questions that may arise. Working closely with the Technical Services and Risk & Advisory teams, you will drive and manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, identifying and qualifying business opportunities, resolving technical roadblocks, and developing sound strategies to address fundamental customer objections. With a strong focus on technical expertise and excellent customer service, you will be a key member of our team, helping to build relationships with key partners, prepare and deliver product messaging, and respond to RFPs and proposals. This is an exciting opportunity to join our company as our first dedicated Sales Engineer and contribute to the growth and success of our business.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and qualifying business opportunities and developing strategies to resolve technical roadblocks
  • Managing the technical development of customer solutions, including product and solution briefings, system architectures, and bid responses
  • Leading technical discussions in client meetings to identify business and technical needs, issues, and priorities
  • Preparing and delivering product messaging to highlight the value proposition
  • Leading technical support in sales presentations and formulating responses to complex customer inquiries
  • Developing relationships with key partners and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction
  • Communicating customer requirements to technical teams and positioning the technology against competitive offerings
  • Spotting opportunities for improvement and setting and managing expectations with stakeholders
  • Maintaining knowledge of the industry and competitive landscape to ensure the presentation of the best solutions.
  • Representing the company and brand to customers at field events and serving as a trusted technical advisor to prospective customers.

Qualifications:

  • A background in technical service delivery, such as a Sales Engineer, Technical Support Analyst, or offensive security consultant
  • A solid understanding of modern technology infrastructure and how different parts of the stack work together (e.g., hardware, networks, cloud, web applications)
  • Bonus skills: experience with penetration testing, technical assessments, and security risk assessments
  • Customer service skills and experience measuring client satisfaction and building customer satisfaction dashboards
  • Experience improving business processes backed by data-driven insights.

We are excited to offer a competitive base compensation for this position, with a range of $100,000 - $160,000. In addition to this, we offer annual and recruitment bonuses, as well as a remote working stipend with all the tools and technology you need to be successful in your role with us. While we primarily seek senior-level candidates for this position, we are open to considering advanced security practitioners who want to make a career switch to a sales & customer service-oriented position.
