Remote Telehealth Physician: Weight Loss Management

SteadyMD has partnered with a digital healthcare company offering quality, virtual weight-loss consultations and prescriptions. We are currently hiring MDs and DOs with a minimum of 5 state licenses, and 2 of these licenses must be in CA, NY, FL, PA, TX, IL, or NJ. This is an hourly contract role and is completely remote.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial intake evaluation video visits (15 minutes) with new patients
• Provide patient with plan and if appropriate, prescribe different weight loss medications (primarily GLP-1’s such as Wegovy or Ozempic)
• Work with a diverse population; we are an organization that values inclusivity and evidence based care for all populations
• Conduct asynchronous chat responses to patient questions
• Send in prescription refills

Requirements

• Actively licensed in good standing in at least 5 states. 2 licenses must be in the following states: CA, NY, FL, PA, TX, IL, NJ
• Availability for at least 10 hours/week
• Two years of practice experience
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, or Family Medicine
• Above average comfort with technology
• Timely and professional
• Telemedicine or virtual care experience preferred
