Regional Marketing Manager

Munich, Germany

We’re seeking a Marketing Manager to join us in our mission to improve human health and quality of life through the development, distribution, and application of advanced computational methods.

Schrödinger is transforming the way therapeutics and materials are discovered. We’ve pioneered a digital chemistry platform that enables discovery of high-quality, novel molecules more rapidly and at lower cost compared to traditional methods. The platform combines the power of physics-based molecular simulation with machine learning and team-based collaborative informatics. It is used by biopharmaceutical and industrial companies, academic institutions, and government laboratories around the world.

As a member of our global marketing team, you’ll have the opportunity to implement regional marketing strategies for our life science and materials science business in Europe. We would like to fill this role in Mannheim or Munich (Germany) but will consider exceptional candidates in France or the UK.

What you’ll do: 

  • Lead the local coordination of global marketing campaigns by evaluating, planning, and executing marketing activities in the European region 
  • Identify regional marketing channels to reach our target audiences across segments
  • Work with global marketing and regional sales teams to develop objectives for local events, including initiatives in lead generation, customer engagement, and brand awareness (i.e. conferences, webinars, workshops)
  • Drive regional brand representation and consistency by working with global creative and marketing teams

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Marketing or related discipline
  • Excellent English skills - German and/or French would be a plus
  • At least five years of science marketing experience, ideally in life science or materials science industries
  • Experience in working with distributed teams
  • Project Management experience is a plus
