THE ROLE
QA engineer with experience in both manual and automated backend testing
Python + pytest
Ability to work in bash
Key resposibilities:
- Functional and exploratory testing of back-end services, and preparing them for release;
- Development and updating of a complex of autotests;
- Monitoring and analysis of service performance metrics on test benches;
- Bug reporting (Jira);
- Formalization of the test base in TMS (Qase).
Requirements
- Good knowledge of test design and experience in applying the theory of sensitivity testing;
- Experience in writing API autotests (and not only) in Python >= 3.8;
- Experience with pytest;
- Experience in using OPP in test frameworks;
- Experience with Linux command line (ssh, grep, less, top, iptables, etc.);
- English language level expected to read the documentation used.
It will be useful (but not a criterion):
- Database experience (we use PostgreSQL and RocksDB);
- Experience with Erlang or Scala projects;
- Experience in testing an exchange or brokerage system;
- Work or personal experience in the field of exchange trading (if any, please indicate in the cover letter);
