The mission
Equativ's video suite offers the possibility of showcasing ads on platforms via inhouse solutions (Web, mobile, Connected TVs etc.). As an extension to our existing video solutions, Equativ in collaboration with a trusted Telecom provider in France is now offering small channels the opportunity to try out personalized advertising spots. With this accelerated deployment of targeted television advertising, the development around the TV product line is growing at a rapid pace to back the ever evolving industry and market norms along with maintaining stability on existing features.
The TV product line being an important pillar of strategic growth over the coming years, Equativ is looking for a QA Test engineer to work in this dynamic, fast paced environment with the goal of designing and executing manual tests, partaking in shipping out a high quality product.
QA Test engineer responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics.
What you’ll be doing
- Work with Feature teams to assure the test planning, design, implementation, execution and reporting
- In charge of triaging issues/bugs, monitoring defect life cycle and analyzing the root cause
- You will become a champion of quality for any Equativ product you touch, and proliferate that same spirit across the team
- Work in synergy with the automation engineer to select and design the best scenarios to integrate in the automation framework
- Participate actively as a member of an Agile feature team in each Scrum ceremony
About you
- 3+ years of experience in manual testing
- Experience in Web Application and API testing
- Good understanding of software test methodologies, tools and processes
- Able to multitask and projects, and handle competing priority tasks
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Able to juggle conflicting/changing priorities and maintain a positive attitude while experiencing challenging and dynamic schedules
- Ability to work with a geographically dispersed team and attend reviews/meetings to assist in maintaining alignment
- Good written and spoken English and French
- ISTQB certification
