Know our team
Nutrition International’s Program Operations Unit is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of Nutrition International’s core program interventions including program development, design, planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting, and grant management, including setting annual operational planning, budgeting, and review processes. The unit comprises a global team of professionals located in our 10 core countries across Asia, Africa and our headquarters in Ottawa, Canada. Nutrition International is seeking applications for Program Assistant.
About you
You will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related fields from a recognized University or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
You will also have 3 years’ experience working in accounting and/or finance, 3 years’ experience working in project office administration, Experience working with the Microsoft suite, especially Excel, Experience working with database is considered an asset
About the role
In this role you will be:
To help NI’s Sahel Office meet its program objectives and ensure sound stewardship of grants and other resources, through providing effective and efficient support to the Director and other program staff in the Sahel region.
Support the Country Director and Senior Program staff in the Sahel with the development of Program Concept Notes, including liaison with potential grantees, support on completing sections like Hierarchy of Objectives, PIP, budget etc. while ensuring the program documentation process is correctly followed and aligned with inputs into the Contracts Databas.
