GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Perform complex program administration work in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services. Plan annual budget and monitor revenue production and expenses to ensure fiscal stability. Serve as subject matter expert in assigned area- develop in depth knowledge of program rules, requirements, contract requirements, applicable Texas Administrative Codes, and best practices of the following services, but not limited to: ICF-IID, HCS, and TxHmL services. Participate in training offered by governing bodies and other sources to ensure knowledge base is up to date. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal staff, staff of partner agencies, individuals receiving services and their families and the community in general. Train and monitor staff performance in the execution of applicable rules and standards. Hire, train and supervise staff in assigned area in accordance with agency policies and procedures. May have to work alternative hours at times to support departmental needs.

Coordinate schedule with co-workers to minimize disruptions. Share information appropriately and through chain of command. Handle differences in a professional manner. Manage staff in a respectful manner and consult supervisor prior to any personnel action. Participate as an active member of the IDD Management Team.

BENEFITS
Salary Range: $58,000 - $62,000 per year Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
(Although typical work hours are between 8am-5pm, there may be times where staff will have to work alternative shifts for departmental needs. This may include weekends and/or weeknights.)
