Purpose of the role

We are looking for an ambitious, proactive, and experienced Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to help us grow through well-planned product launches, strategic positioning, compelling messaging, and more. The PMM role is critical and lives at the intersection of marketing, product, sales, and customers, gathering information from key stakeholders to craft powerful narratives that grow the Ataccama brand and engage and educate prospects and customers.

You will drive product marketing efforts that support the Ataccama platform and solutions, developing crisp and differentiated messaging that clearly articulates the business value of Ataccama and speaks directly to our target buyers. You will create the most compelling field enablement and will work closely with our field marketing teams on content, marketing campaigns, and building the right marketing programs to drive awareness and new customer acquisition. You will tell the most important and interesting stories that educate prospects on the incredible things our customers are achieving with Ataccama.

Your challenge

  • Own go-to-market for your product: 
  • Partner with marketing, product management, and sales to craft and execute business, product, and GTM plans.
  • Define a market strategy to guide outbound marketing efforts to increase market awareness and new customer acquisition. Provide clear guidelines to ensure outbound content and collateral is produced in a consistent and aligned way.
  • Develop and evolve compelling product positioning and messaging that is highly targeted to our buyers and that articulates the strategic value of the Ataccama platform and solutions, with clear differentiation from our competition.
  • Lead, coordinate, and work with marketing, product management, customer success, professional services, enablement, and sales teams to execute product launches that highlight new innovations and drive increased awareness, inbound demand, and adoption.
  • Help ensure maximum Field team readiness: work with enablement to document and deliver a strategic market and competitive strategy, value proposition, sales assets, and use cases that enable the field and partners. 
  • Work closely with field sales, demand generation, marketing, and others on messaging and target marketing (target customers, personas, competitive intelligence, market dynamics, etc).
  • Develop regular cadence and close interlock with Product Management/Engineering to collaborate on the launch process, development of value proposition and competitive positioning, understanding the TAM, as well as providing regular feedback loops from customers and the field. 
  • Regularly study our customers through win/loss interviews, case studies, and close engagement with Sales and Presales teams. Spot the patterns and trends that can help evolve and refine our overall GTM strategy. Share insights with the Product team to help inform the product roadmap.
  • Act as a spokesperson to evangelize the Ataccama platform and solutions, both internally and externally.
  • Help prepare materials for analyst briefings.

Is this you?

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, sales, or product in a B2B software company, customer-facing experience is a plus.
  • Experience working within the Data Management space.
  • You are obsessed with understanding customers and their pain points.
  • You are a strategist who can synthesize information from different sources and derive insights.
  • You have experience planning and executing SaaS product launches including working within a tight timeline, securing customer references, and creating sales training and enablement materials for the field and partners.
  • You are skilled and passionate about marketing and creating compelling and engaging content.
  • You have high technical aptitude and the ability to discern complex product information into value-based messaging.
  • Your English is excellent, and you are a great communicator and storyteller.
  • You enjoy constantly learning new things and sharing your knowledge with others.
  • You are a self-starter and look for opportunities to lead and drive projects forward.
