The role will work closely between software engineering teams as well as product and business teams to develop and execute the product vision. As a Product Manager at GeoComply, you are someone who takes ownership of your projects, has a sound technical background and communicates well with various stakeholders to execute your plans. You are someone with a history of positively motivating your team to continuously output results. Candidates with past experience in software engineering working closely with non-technical stakeholders would succeed in this role.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Communicate and take input from customers, customer proxies, and analytics data and transfer it into an actionable product plan
  • Identify, research, and propose new ideas based on market and competitor research.
  • Research and evaluate use cases for a feature. Write requirement documents, use cases, initiatives (feature/project), epics, and stories.
  • Define a long-term as well as a short-term vision of the product. Have a periodical review, and update the roadmap.
  • Define product metrics, understand the data and propose action plan for your findings. 
  • Initiate features and work with other stakeholders on design reviews and solution sessions. 
  • Work with teams on grooming, sprint planning, release planning, daily standup, and team retrospective.
  • Breakdown work and coordinate with multiple teams if features span across teams
  • Prioritize backlog, manage changes in priority and manage release scope
  • Lead sessions, including feedback – internally / externally, spring demo, release review demo, Beta/Tech Preview rollout, and feature training session
  • Review, refine and document release notes, product documentation, product feature lab, FAQ, marketing, and release materials
  • Work with other stakeholders on requests and support for features, fixes, issues, hotfix evaluation, sign-off, customer escalations & management

About You

  • 3 or more years of experience in similar roles such as Product Owner, Product Manager, Technical Product Manager, Engineering Manager, Project Manager, etc.
  • Good understanding of systems design, how components work together at production scales.
  • Good understanding of Agile scrum practices, and using tools like Atlassian Jira to keep teams organized.
  • A true team player with great communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Results-oriented with ability to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Good proficiency in professional written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work with distributed teams and occasional international travel.
