About the Position

Foursquare is looking for a Product Designer II to work on a range of products from Enterprise to Consumer products 

About the role: 

You are a natural collaborator and design thinker that translates customer and business needs into innovative solutions. You will collaborate with cross functional teams including; UX, Marketing, Product and Engineering. This is an entry level position for new grads or candidates with a year experience in the design field. 

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include; coordinating requirements with stakeholders, validating your concepts with users, presenting your research and insights to partners and delivering polished designs and specs to engineers.

In this role, you’ll

• Be a part of the Product Design team to discover, design, build, and iterate a product from beginning to end
• Rapidly respond to team, developer and player feedback and iterate on solutions 
• Collaborate with Lead Designers to conceptualize and validate design solutions
• Prototype and user test design concepts with users and present research finding to stakeholders 
• Partner closely with stakeholders from Product, Engineering, Designers, leadership, and external parties to understand goal and objective - and quickly translate them into prototypes for feedback
• Exhibit a desire to be approachable and willingness to always help
• Be eager to learn and will remain open to feedback

What you’ll need

• 1+ years of designing for desktop, tablet and mobile devices
• Strong design sense that values simplicity and usability
• Experience using research insights and behavioral data to inform designs which solve user problems
• The ability to champion design and how it applies business goals
• Curious, self-motivated, optimistic and a skilled problem-solver
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human Computer Interaction, or relevant experience in a full-cycle product design environment

Nice to have:

• Experience in big data and ad tech
• Experience in both, B2B and B2C products

At Foursquare, we are committed to providing competitive pay and benefits that are in line with industry and market standards.  Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, and specific office location.

The annual total cash compensation range is $88,000 - $147,250 however actual salaries can vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills and competencies, as well as location. 

Salary is just one component of Foursquare’s total compensation package, which includes restricted stock units, multiple health insurance options, and a wide range of benefits!
