Pharmacy Technician

How will this role have an impact?

The MTM Pharmacy Technician position is crucial to the efforts of Signify Health to improve the quality of drug use delivered to Medicare recipients during structured, comprehensive in-home assessments performed by physicians, advance practice nurses and physician assistants. 

This role will report to our Chief Medical Officer

What will you do?

1. The pharmacy technician will transcribe patient-specific prescription information, diagnosis information, drug allergies and drug-therapy related recommendations into a third-party, web-based application as part of Signify Health’s Medication Therapy Management program.

• The data to be transcribed is contained in a Signify Health Salesforce application.
• The data entered by the pharmacy technician will be used to create a standardized document that will be mailed to individual patients.
• The final step of the transcription process is the submission of a Claim for reimbursement for the performance of a Comprehensive Medication Review.

We are looking for someone with:

• Valid Pharmacy Technician certification
• At least 2 years of experience as Pharmacy Technician
• Understanding of pharmaceutical and medical vocabulary
• Experience in prescription order entry
• Fluently speak, read, and write English
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill
• Self-directed and organized
• Discrete/ability to maintain confidentiality
• Detail-oriented
• Sense of urgency
