Reporting to the Head of Global Growth Marketing, you will own and manage our performance marketing efforts around the world. You will work closely with other global and regional teammates to develop a winning strategy and make sure we have the right tech, processes, and systems to achieve our goals. You will partner with our agency partners to deliver compelling and cost-effective digital campaigns that span the entire user funnel, and you will be obsessive when it comes to measurement, experimentation, and creative excellence. You will join the Airwallex Marketing team during a critical period. Following rapid growth, we are building a team that enables both global consistency in process, tooling and methodology, and local flexibility and speed in execution. You will:
- Build Performance Marketing as global discipline at Airwallex, hiring top-class marketers and establishing a high-functioning team over time.
- Own and manage critical agency relationships to make sure we have localised digital campaigns across the globe that are delivering results.
- Make use of user and market insights to improve segmentation, messaging, and distributions strategies.
- Partner with Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, and Data Science to make sure our spend and ROI are accurately tracked and reported.
- Hold a high bar for creative excellence and push the organisation to experiment with emergent ad formats and channels where appropriate.
- Have a bias towards structured experimentation; you will be quick to scale what works, and not afraid to cut what doesn’t.
- Establish ambitious growth targets across multiple channels, allocate budget efficiently, and dynamically tweak investments to maximise return.
- Not lose sight of the forest for the trees; you’ll know how to effectively manage the need for short-term outcomes, with longer-term ambitions.
What you bring:
- 10+ years of experience in Performance Marketing, preferably at a high-growth technology company.
- A track record of creating sound strategies that deliver on various goals across the user funnel - from awareness to acquisition.
- Strong analytical skills that allow you to effectively measure and optimise campaign performance and drive a solid return on ad spend.
- Experience working with other marketers and designers on refreshing creatives, and aligning them with the overall media strategy.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced and dynamic global environment, with regular updates to key stakeholders.
- An obsession with user and market insights, and an ability to incorporate them into your localised strategies and tactics.
- Breadth and depth of knowledge across various channels and networks, including region-specific platforms like WeChat and Y! Japan
- A track record of finding the best digital agencies and holding them accountable to deliver results and elevate our ambitions.
- Familiarity with common digital media management, analytics, automation, and CRM platforms and tools.
