About Harry’s

Harry’s Inc. started in 2013 with a specific goal: disrupt the shaving industry by creating an innovative, everyday product at a fair price. Since then, Harry’s has expanded to Canada and Europe, developed relationships with retailers such as Target and Walmart, expanded our grooming brand into a personal care powerhouse, launched two new brands including Flamingo and Cat Person, and made our first brand acquisition with Lumē.

The key to our success? Our amazing people. From chemists, mechanical engineers, CX associates, to creative directors, sourcing managers, and logistics specialists, the Harry’s team is composed of some of the most brilliant, diverse, and humble people you’ll ever meet.

Our brands answer unmet consumer needs, but our company is a place of inclusion and innovation that attracts some of the brightest minds across industries, geographies, and backgrounds. Whether we have a team of 5 or 500, our core values and our startup mentality remain; we value continuous improvement and learning, teamwork and collaboration, creative problem solving, and open and direct dialogue and feedback.

About the Team

The Growth team at Harry’s manages digital and offline marketing channels to acquire new customers and drive profitable growth for the business. We are an enthusiastic group of driven individuals who are constantly reinventing our approach, developing and testing hypotheses rooted in customer insights, and scaling Harry’s paid marketing in a measured, cost-effective manner. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the UK Growth Team, responsible for acquiring new customers through a range of direct response marketing channels across the UK & DE.

About the Role

This is a unique time to join Harry’s at such a pivotal time in our journey as we shift from a start up to a scale up business. The role will provide an opportunity to be part of a fast growing direct-to-consumer business and help grow our customer base through performance marketing campaigns, in both the UK & DE.

You’ll be joining our Growth marketing team which is responsible for the success of channels such as Social, Search, Affiliates, DRTV, Inserts, Podcast, Print and Partnerships. Reporting to the Offline Acquisition Manager, you will provide support in the management of key marketing channels across both Offline and Online, and quickly taking end-to-end ownership of your own campaigns. In this role you’ll be assisting in the development of media and creative briefs, helping to maintain key forecasting tools, overseeing the back-end functionality required to keep campaigns running smoothly, updating and reporting on campaign performance and proofing advertising artwork.

What you will accomplish:

  • Assist the Marketing Manager in the management of direct response channels: contribute to the running of 2-3 marketing channels (online and offline). Monitor weekly results and produce weekly reporting for the business
  • Campaign creation and maintenance: take ownership of the technical set-up of channels ensuring they are ready and tested in advance of campaign launches
  • Manage your own Direct Response channels: run and take end-to-end ownership of 2-3 of your own marketing channels
  • Creative co-ordination: oversee the smooth running of advertising creative projects across digital and offline channels, supporting Channel Managers and in-house Graphic Designer in their timely delivery
  • Analysis + reporting: provide regular reporting on the performance of marketing channels you are supporting on. You will gain a solid understanding of our attribution methodology, and the mechanics involved in its workings, along with customer quality KPI’s.
  • Manage agency partners: develop and maintain strong and positive relationships with vendors involved in the delivery of your channel(s). Become an expert of your area through speaking with partners, peers in the industry and where appropriate, attending selected events.

This should describe you:

  • Analytical - you’re confident with numbers and enjoy analysing data sets and generating meaningful insights. You’re at least an intermediate Excel user, able to use formulas and pivots.
  • Constantly curious - you love learning new things and are proactive in asking about the ‘why’ and ‘how’. You’re a fast learner and enjoying absorbing lots of new information.
  • Highly organised - you have a natural desire to keep things up-to-date, write to-do lists, create tracker documents to ensure nothing gets missed and things happen on time.
  • You’re a recent graduate with a numerically grounded degree (e.g. Economics, Marketing) OR have 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a marketing team
  • Prior internship experience a bonus but not required
  • German speaker would be a bonus
  • You thrive on direct, honest, and supportive communication
  • You are always thinking about how to help the teammates around you excel
  • To you, there’s nothing more exciting than a new challenge
  • Sense of humor -- we take our work seriously, but not ourselves

Here's who you'll work with:

  • Reporting to the Marketing Manager
  • Working in the Growth Team across Offline & Online channels
  • Working closely with the rest of the Growth Team across Channel Managers and Executives, in-house Graphic Designers, as well as our Digital Product team.
  • You’ll also have exposure to the Brand Team as well as external partners we work with.
