We Need…
A People’s Champion
As a company that strives to bring an industry into a new light through the next generation of legal tech products, we don’t want to slack and lag behind when it comes to also modernise our focus on people. Long gone are the days where HR is solely focused on recruitment, training, and payroll. Now, to redefine our focus, we are looking for a People’s Champion to help us empower our team through measurable goals and objectives, ensure our team’s good health and well-being, and innovate upon and create processes and policies.
You help ensure that our actions and words resonate within the team so that they’re enthralled by it while also able to clearly understand it, no matter what it may be. By studying the theory behind our work, you understand why now is the time to create a smarter, more engaging, and more captivating work environment and relish in the thought of tackling a variety of projects, tasks, and problems to help achieve this. Additionally, we’ll look to you for new ideas, discover opportunities for us to learn and knowledge-share, and have a careful eye to find and rectify pitfalls when reviewing our work.
You’ll hone both your existing and latent skills and talents while continuously providing an influx of knowledge to leave you unrecognizable. At its core, you’ll supercharge your growth while playing an influential role in the further development, refinement, and growth of our People Operations team and beyond that, our team culture and identity.
You Will…
Practice what you preach: being the gatekeepers of our values, we demonstrate them through our actions and help set the standards for the rest of our team.
Manage our People Operations team to keep moving us towards a first-class employee experience through supporting and innovating upon our initiatives and projects while also bringing your own ideas to the table.
Rapidly upskill: you’ll be constantly sponging new information and gaining first-hand experience through attending online events, spearheading small projects, bringing feedback and ideas forward, researching and writing position descriptions, and more.
Use a magnifying glass: your strong attention to detail and creativity work together when you review our ideas and writing while also providing your own thoughts, feedback, and comments.
Spot inefficiencies: you’ll identify and iron out any possible inefficiencies and redundancies that exist within our current work and processes.
Lend a helping hand when we organize and plan any team events, whether they are for fun, such as our Virtual Drinks, or growth-focused, such as our Lunch & Learn.
Payroll duties: Preparing, verifying, and processing payroll in accordance with current law guidelines and regulations in Australia, the UK, and Manila.
Accounts receivable and payable: Verifying transaction information; computing charges and refunds; reconciling transactions with statements, offering creative budget, cash flow, and other financial solutions as needed.
