We are looking for an Operations Engineer to expand our technical operations team at MedRhythms! Operations at MedRhythms is an interdisciplinary group that supports long-term and short-term initiatives throughout the organization. Qualified candidates can prioritize multiple competing tasks, have a passion for helping people, and have a never-ending curiosity. Beyond all else, the best candidates for this position have a strong desire to learn a variety of disciplines on the fly. Projects for this group can change quickly, and this team rapidly adapts to meet those needs. This role would be great for someone who wants to try a lot of everything to help determine where their passions lie.
Responsibilities:
- Drive device operations including inventory management, manufacturing, and validation procedure for use within demo, betas, clinical trials and commercial products
- Troubleshoot hardware and software components to determine product defects or continuous maintenance items
- Assist in managing the product lifecycle for the FDA regulated software-as-a-medical device (SAMD) products and associated Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) equipment.
- Support regulatory submissions through creating and reviewing regulatory documentation
- Maintain relationships with Contractor Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) to support a growing supply chain
- Coordinate with Engineering, Product, Quality, and Commercial to support broader product launches and change management
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2-10 years of experience in hardware engineering, software engineering, or other similar STEM fields.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware and software in-tandem and separately.
- Strong technical knowledge and ability to learn new skills on the fly.
- Experience developing hardware and software for a commercial launch.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Kanban).
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Asana).
