Music Studio Site Manager - London

We are hiring for a team of Site Managers, each responsible for their own sites, full of creative studios from DJ, recording, rehearsal, podcast and dance studios. Be the face of Pirate Studios. Your main role is to make sure the artists, our customers are having the best experience and time in the studios. We want you to own and run the studios like they are your own, so we are looking for someone with a high level of accountability for the customer experience, general operation, maintenance and standards of our sites.

This role is full-time on a 7 day rotating-rota and will be responsible for one of our Pirate Studios in London.

Interested?

Everyday will be different for you, you can expect to spend your days:

  • Keeping the artists happy - devoting time to the customers, making sure the studios are always presented well and equipment is operational
  • Maintaining the studios - supervising and checking building repair work is top quality, making sure studios are always ready to be booked and implementing our global best practices, but keeping some space for localisation - we want your knowledge of the local music scene and creative input here!
  • Managing site budgets and operating costs, whilst maximising revenue where you can
  • Staying on top of the equipment - proactively testing and repairing equipment, ordering stock and coordinating deliveries
  • Keeping things compliant - the health & safety of our artists and Pirate employees is key, you need to make sure it is a safe environment for all.

Our Ideal Site Manager

You’ve got what it takes if you’re:

  • Passionate about music! and know a bit about musical equipment
  • Customer focused, everything we do is for the artists
  • A creative thinker, we want your ideas
  • Ok with working autonomously and able to manage loads of priorities
  • Agile and flexible, able to change priorities quickly if needed and stay cool headed and effective in a reactive situation
  • A great communicator, a self-starter and really organised
  • An advocate for health & safety

Bonus points if you’ve got experience in musical equipment repairs, music studios, retail, hospitality or similar customer facing roles.
